Simon is supposed to have arrived in America in 1749. Meriel states "From a ship's list, I found a Simon Rehrig who arrived in Philadelphia aboard the ship "Phoenix" on 14 Sep 1749. I also have a Johanes and a Donius Rehrig - spelled Roorig - on this ship, which came from Cowes England, with John Mason as ship's Master."
